On August 26th Pete’s Golf celebrated its 45th anniversary with a tournament at Wheatley Hills Golf Club. Our family of customers and supporters came together for a fun-filled day, but more importantly, we raised a great deal of money for an important cause. We are truly grateful for everyone’s support!
Twelve years ago, Woody Lashen’s wife Linda received a life-saving heart transplant. It was all made possible by an organ donor facilitated by LiveOnNY. Our main goal was to help raise funds so that other families could receive the same gift of life. Everyone’s participation will directly save lives!
The event was also a celebration of Pete’s Golf being in business for 4 1/2 decades. Over the years, we have met some incredible people, and they all came out to show their support and have a good time.
Most importantly, there were tons of smiles, and we were able to finish in just over four hours. We had plenty of time for our cocktail hour, putting contest, and dinner.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who helped make our 45th Anniversary Tournament a success. We feel lucky to have been in business for as long as we have, and it is only possible with the support of our customers. From the Pete’s Golf family, thank you!
